Bella's Bed and Breakfast is located in Freemans Bay on the Northern slopes of Ponsonby. Freemans Bay is a heritage area with streets lined with gorgeous Victorian villas with wide views of Auckland City and the inner harbour. Bella's is conveniently located within walking distance of the central city and the local cafes, restaurants and boutique shops of Ponsonby and Herne Bay.

Bella's was originally built in 1900 in a traditional Victorian style. The house has been extensively renovated in 2005, specifically designed as luxury boutique accommodation. Whilst it maintains many of its period features, it has been updated to the highest standard incorporating contemporary architecture, materials and furnishings.
